Young Producers Group is the trusted partner districts choose to deliver standards-based music tech curricula, support teachers with time-saving resources, and prepare students for media industry careers.

We help educators teach music composition through technology.

Our music production and composition curricula are UC A-G credit-approved, CTE standards-aligned, project-based, and refined in schools across the country.

Teachers receive support at every step of implementation with Teacher's Handbooks (including pacing guides, rubrics, pedagogical instruction, and more) and professional development services. We take the guesswork out of how to deliver a stress-free, engaging classroom experience.

Our methods and materials are firmly rooted in the classroom, with YPG in schools since 2013.

YPG stays up-to-date and responsive to the needs of modern, diverse classrooms, teachers, and students by having our own teachers on-the-ground at several schools.

YPG's 2023-24 teaching sites are:

  • Charles Drew Middle School

  • James Madison Middle School

  • Roosevelt High School

  • Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (we co-founded and oversee the Commercial Music Program 🤘)
